Romania was once known as the breadbasket of Europe. However, the country stagnated under a communist dictatorship for decades, leaving Romania poor and in great material need.  When communism crumbled in 1989, people began looking for their answers elsewhere, and there exists a great hunger for the truth of the gospel. In the villages throughout the countryside, where we will assist local churches in reaching their community, or in the streets of Romania’s second largest city, Timisoara, where we will base our outreaches, people are responding to Christ. 

Timisoara has been named “the city of flowers” for its large open square with beautiful gardens and church structures.  Orphans, in most cases thrown out of homes or overcrowded orphanages, fill the city streets and squares.  Many of them are addicted to various inhalants.  These precious children, ranging from five years and older, are desperate for a way out and long for the love and acceptance that is found in Christ.  Come offer the love of Jesus and impact their lives with the power of God through drama, music, and one-on-one ministry.  We will team with local churches to see hundreds come to Christ.
